Watch-ya Watchin' ?

Honestly, I'm not watching anything right now.

We no longer get "real" TV we stream it all via the internet on our DVD player. It's nice because there are a lot less commercials (Hulu has some) but not so nice because we can't watch sports. Boo.
I love Football!

I got hooked on Mad Men just before school let out but don't think it's appropriate for my kids to watch. Then I got hooked on Buffy (Netflix is Lovely!) but they don't like it so I have been having to wait for school to start
School started yesterday.

Today I watched half of Ethan Frome with Princess. A young Liam Neeson, Patricia Arquette and Joan Allen as a beast. Fun.
Yesterday I watched American Dreamer. :::sigh:::

I am reading A Little Night Magic by Lucy March and LOVING it! I haven't read fun stuff for a while so it's awesome. I have a bunch of books from the Library I need to get to as well...
Shannon Hale: Enna Burning and River Secrets
Orson Scott Card Rachel and Leah
The Wettest County in the World (because they re making it into a movie and I dig that kind of thing)

and waiting at the Library to be picked up?
3 books by Diana Gabaldon (Outlander series)
Susan Elizabeth Phillips latest, The Great Escape

I think I have plenty to do while the kids are at school... oh and that doesn't include the (HOLY COW! I just did the math and I have) 540 +/- books on my Kindle app!

The shows I'm waiting to come back are Once Upon a Time, Glee (eh), Big Bang Theory, the two CSIs that are still alive (CSI & CSI:NY), Downton Abbey!, Bones, Psych, Modern Family, New Girl, Suburgatory and Raising Hope.
I'm kind of excited to see The Mindy Project, Go On, and Elementary (Sherlock Holmes with Johnny Lee Miller! Squee!).

so... until then. Guess I'm stuck with watching reruns of Mad Men & Buffy

  1. I love Buffy, how can they not like it? What season are you on? We got rid of cable a few years ago and stream everything too.

Have you read any of the Outlander books yet? I think you are going to love that series :)

  2. IDK why they don't like it? I'm still on season 1 on both Buffy and Mad Men.
I pick up the Outlander books today.
