Commentaries, NOT Reviews

So I have been thinking that I wanted to put reviews of books, movies, music, television, maybe even radio and commercials. But honestly I don’t want to do a review, I want to just make commentary. You know those people you hate at the movies and when you watch TV that ask questions and talk to the screen. Or the ones that tell you what is going to happen next because the writing is so bad? Yes Sir! I’m one of those and I make my husband and children crazy over it! Thank you and you’re welcome.
Lately I’ve only been watching one television show so that would be easy. Movies? Nothing. So give me an excuse to watch more, see more and listen more. Then I can come on here and tell you what I think. That’s what I really like doing, giving my opinion. I don’t really want to give a non-biased opinion because that would be silly. Of course I’m biased. And of course I have an opinion. I always have an opinion. When I don’t have an opinion then it must be really bad or unimportant (at least to me). It may or may not be something you want to hear but nonetheless I like sharing. Yeah, that’s the way I am.
I have shied away a bit from giving too much of a religious slant on my opinions but that will probably be changing too. I have ideas about humans and the Great Plan and why we’re even in existence and I believe all things turn around that One Great Truth. So many of my opinions are based on these life and “being” concepts that I’ve worked on for years. Much of what is good comes from The Source and will reflect in a good way, “…by their fruits…” if you will.
As many of my wonderful friends have started, I also have joined in on the 101 things you want to do in 1001 days. It’s a list and near the top of my list is learning how to write Abstracts. Eventually I hope to be in an MFA program that will require me to write an Abstract for every book I read. Freaking cool! So it would be a good idea to learn how to do that and kind of perfect the process before actually investing a limb or bodily organ in fees to acquire said degree.
I also wanted to note that my niece was writing a blog with definitions. I loved her idea and I might steal it from time to time. I am hoping to have several postings a week. They will be short and hopefully sweet. Some will be heartwarming while others will make you wince. Some will be educational while others simply silly. Either way, it’s what I’m thinking about or hearing about or wondering about. Maybe you are or will be too? Maybe my musings will give you insight or stir you to anger or more hopefully, make you crack a smile or two.
Really the most important thing I want to accomplish is to blog regularly and go viral. C’mon… Help me out here. HAHAHA!
